Why book clubs come first
Book clubs gather the exact audience authors want: committed readers who discuss books, recommend them, write reviews, and choose what to read next together. That makes them the natural starting point for a campaign designed to build lasting readership.
A single selection can introduce your book to an entire group instead of one reader at a time.
Discussion gives readers a reason to engage deeply, share interpretations, and recommend the book afterward.
Book-club interest can lead to reviews, author visits, library programs, bookstore events, interviews, and referrals.

A real review left by a real person.

Proof from a real book-club campaign
ReaderReach grew from the book-club-first outreach campaign for Sacred Crossroads. The work showed that authors need more than a contact list. They need careful research, venue-specific messages, suppression controls, reply tracking, and a clear next step when email is not enough.
Real outreach. Real responses.
Personalized outreach for Sacred Crossroads has opened conversations with book clubs, programming teams, libraries, and interview hosts. These are actual replies from the campaign.
Privacy protected: names, email addresses, phone numbers, timestamps, and identifying organization details have been permanently obscured. The outcome language remains unchanged.
How it works
Every campaign begins with your book and a dedicated sending identity. We gather the facts, earn your approval, warm the mailbox carefully, and then manage a steady daily outreach rhythm while your Campaign Desk keeps the activity and replies organized.
Choose your plan, complete secure payment, and use the private sign-in link sent to your enrollment email.
The one-time onboarding process is simple and straightforward. We guide you through short sections about your book, ideal readers, author story, availability, and campaign preferences, and you can save your progress at any time.
We prepare your positioning and reusable outreach message. You review, edit, and approve the facts, voice, boundaries, and core template before outreach begins.
We create and manage a dedicated campaign domain and mailbox, authenticate and warm it up, and match your book with suitable organizations. The sending identity is included with every plan.
Sending starts at up to five messages per day and rises in measured steps while we monitor delivery health. After the 14-day warm-up, the campaign can reach its full target of up to 25 messages per day in total, including due follow-ups.
Replies and requests appear in your Campaign Desk. ReaderReach can classify the reply, prepare a response, organize follow-up, and alert you by email when your decision is needed. Only you can accept an appearance, date, fee, travel request, or other commitment.
Why warm up? A new author mailbox should earn a healthy sending reputation before it reaches full volume. The measured first 14 days protect deliverability while the rest of your three-month launch can work at up to 25 messages per day.
Optional Expanded Reach add-on
For a one-time $299 charge, we carry the positioning developed for your book-club campaign into other places readers discover books. Choose it during signup or add it later from your Campaign Desk. Every message is customized for the organization, its audience, and the opportunity.
Author-interview podcasts, reader and literary shows, writing programs, local talk radio, newsroom features, and conversations connected to your book’s themes.
Book reviewers, review publications, literary websites, newsletters, book bloggers, and other editorial channels that introduce readers to new books.
Literary festivals, book fairs, conferences, virtual summits, public conversations, and independent author events seeking speakers or featured books.
Book-focused creators, curated reading newsletters, online interview series, genre communities, and other digital channels where readers discover authors.
Research that keeps moving
Once your campaign is running, we continue searching for book clubs and reading groups that match your genre. Authors who choose Expanded Reach also receive newly discovered podcasts, radio opportunities, reviewers, literary media, festivals, author events, and digital discovery channels.
We are constantly working for you—organizing opportunities, tracking conversations, removing failed contacts, and keeping the next best contact ready.
Straightforward pricing
Both packages begin with a customized book-club campaign and include setup plus your first three months. Institutional Research and Marketing and Expanded Reach are separate optional programs. Institutional is $399 and Expanded Reach is $299; either can be added during signup or later.
Built around your book
Before we build your Campaign Desk, we learn who you are, what your book is about, who it is meant to reach, and what makes your story compelling. We study your genre, audience, author background, reviews, themes, and strongest conversation points. That foundation tells us who belongs in your campaign and what each contact needs to hear.
We research your genre and identify independent clubs, library groups, online communities, and reading networks whose interests align with your book.
We organize outreach in carefully timed waves. Each message introduces the book, shares relevant reviews and credibility, and highlights the details most likely to interest that specific venue or host.
Failed addresses and opt-outs are removed, replies and follow-ups are tracked, and newly discovered genre-matched contacts are added each week. Your campaign grows cleaner and more useful over time.
Choose Campaign Desk or Managed Outreach, then add Institutional Marketing, Expanded Reach, or both if they fit your goals.
Every campaign is customized around your book. The difference between the plans is how much of the ongoing outreach work you want our team to handle.

Good to know
The guarantee begins only when you complete and submit your onboarding. The onboarding-completion date is recorded in Campaign Desk. Message us here within 14 calendar days after that onboarding-completion date for a refund of your ReaderReach purchase. Campaign preparation and mailbox warm-up do not change the recorded guarantee start date.
A dedicated campaign identity keeps outreach separate from your personal email and gives ReaderReach one consistent way to configure authentication, warm up the mailbox, protect deliverability, and collect replies in your Campaign Desk. The domain and mailbox are included with your plan and are owned, renewed, and managed by ReaderReach for your campaign. They are available while your subscription is active and are not transferred when service ends. If your subscription ends, outreach stops and access to the Campaign Desk, campaign mailbox, and its incoming messages ends at the same time. ReaderReach then retires that campaign identity.
It extends your book-club campaign into non-institutional discovery channels that fit your book: podcasts, radio shows, reviewers, literary media, festivals, author events, book-focused creators, and curated reading newsletters. As long as your ReaderReach subscription remains active, newly discovered opportunities in these channels that fit your book are automatically added to your campaign at no additional Expanded Reach charge. The $299 is a one-time charge and can be added during signup or later from your Campaign Desk.
No. Each venue makes its own decision. We build a qualified pipeline and make sure promising opportunities receive professional follow-through.
You could buy a list and send emails yourself, but a list is only one small part of the work. ReaderReach researches and maintains opportunities across more than 20 categories of book clubs, reading groups, media outlets, and organizations that welcome authors. We match each book to appropriate opportunities and customize every message for the recipient type, the specific organization, and the author information you approve in the platform. If an introduction receives no reply, ReaderReach sends two carefully timed follow-ups. When an organizer says to reconnect during a future book-selection period, ReaderReach recognizes the timing, stops the standard sequence, preserves the conversation, and schedules a context-aware follow-up for the requested window. That combination of research, matching, personalization, measured delivery, reply handling, and long-term follow-through is what ReaderReach provides beyond a purchased list.
No. During onboarding, we learn about your book, its themes, ideal readers, reviews, discussion value, strongest credibility points, and the personal journey that led you to write it. We use that approved foundation to create outreach that sounds like you and highlights the part of your story most relevant to each opportunity. Every message is then tailored to the specific venue, show, or organization—including its audience, programming, interests, submission requirements, and the reason your book may be a good fit. The result is thoughtful, personal communication rather than a generic mass email.
You approve the positioning, factual claims, voice, and core message templates. ReaderReach then personalizes individual messages within those approved guardrails. Sensitive and high-value opportunities can still be held for an extra review.
No. When there is no response, ReaderReach sends a carefully paced three-message sequence: the personalized introduction and two polite follow-ups. If a host or organizer replies and asks you to reconnect during a future book-selection window, that standard sequence stops. ReaderReach records the requested date, prepares a context-aware follow-up using the conversation, and sends it at the appropriate time so the opportunity is not forgotten. Replies, opt-outs, bounces, and suppressions always stop unnecessary follow-up.
When an introduction receives no reply, ReaderReach sends a brief second message about seven days after the initial outreach and a final polite message about twenty-one days after the initial outreach. The final message is always spaced at least fourteen days after the second message actually sends. Any reply, unsubscribe request, bounce, suppression, or campaign removal stops the remaining sequence. Initial messages and follow-ups share the same 25-message daily ceiling and the same delivery safeguards.
The reply stops automated follow-up and appears in your private Campaign Desk. With self-service, you receive and handle the reply. With Managed Outreach, the ReaderReach team reviews routine replies, prepares or handles the next step within your approved boundaries, and includes that activity in your weekly summary. You receive an immediate email alert when the reply needs your decision—for example, an interview invitation, scheduling request, fee, travel question, or another commitment. From the alert, you can approve or edit a prepared response, share your approved calendar link, decline, or ask ReaderReach to handle the next step. We do not accept an interview, podcast, live Q&A, appearance date, fee, travel request, or other commitment for you.
